Can my DNS server see my passwords?

A normal DNS server only sees which domain names you’re looking up, not the content of what you type on those sites, including passwords. That said, a compromised or hijacked DNS setup can redirect you to fake sites designed to steal login details. This explanation of DNS hijacking covers that risk.
